I was just reading about Kitty Genovese incident 1964, and came across necrophilia.

necrophilia noun
1. Obsessive fascination with death and corpses.
2. Erotic attraction to or sexual contact with corpses.

i am sorry i was feeling exasperated reading about Kitty Genovese (i came across this because i was reading about bystander apathy) and her unfortunate death but the fact that the attacker Winston Moseley was a necrophile just overran everything else. eew.
